May 4 - Winemakers' Spring Celebration Gala Dinner
A five course gourmet tasting menu dinner prepared by Chef Daniele Palanca. Sommelier selected wines introduced by the Winemakers.

May 31 - June 3 - The Great Canadian Beaverfest The new festival will feature roughly four Canadian rock and folk bands of national prominence as well as a handful of local musicians. Beaver Fest will also include a province wide country music talent search as well as food and alcoholic drinks.
May 31 - June 3 - LaSalle Strawberry Festival First full weekend in June consists of a beauty pageant on Thursday, official opening on Friday with lots of Craft and Food vendors and Carnival rides. Fireworks on the water Friday at 10pm. Lots of Entertainment all weekend and Family Day Sunday.
June 1 - 3 - Art in the Park
Our extremely talented Artisans bring their creations for your shopping pleasure. Our AIP KIDS ZONE is a large safe area full of children's interactive activities. Our Spirit Tent will feature a selection of upscale Windsor restaurants with delicious menu choices. We are also offering wine and beer options, so you can relax and enjoy the talented local musicians from our area.
June 15 - July 1 - Summerfest
Summerfest takes place along the scenic riverfront in Windsor Ontario. This festival is a perennial favourite for the entire family, offering something for all ages, and stages. Over the years more than 500,000 people have come out annually to enjoy the many activities, and attractions which run in conjunction with Summerfest.
June 15 - 17 - The Leamington Fair
Live Harness Racing, exciting Midway, Vendor Alley, School, Homecraft and Culinary Arts Exhibits and many live animal shows as well as many scheduled events on our calendar.

June 25 - Fireworks Over the Detroit River
For over half a century Detroit has been lit up by the Target Fireworks in June. Launching from the Detroit River, the firework display is one of the largest in the world with over 10,000 separate explosives lighting up the night sky.
July 1 - Windsor's Canada Day Celebration & Parade
Of course Canada Day is the hallmark of the festival. The Canada Day Parade, pancake breakfast, Children's Entertainment, and the Giant 5000 piece Birthday Cake make this a Birthday to remember. This year's parade takes place at our all new location on Wyandotte Street East between Devonshire and Glengarry Avenue.

Bluesfest International is a community event with the mandate to produce an annual world class music festival, promoting local, regional and international artists.
July 20 - 22 - Sunsplash Festival
Experience the Classic Car Cruise Show and Road Tour. Vendors, wild rides and entertainment! Beach volleyball, watercross races, music, food, fun, drinks, a parade, a 5K Run, Fishing Derby, Firefighters Waterbarrel Competition and SOLTRA Lawnmower Races! Lots of free excitement in town, so come and plan on getting in on the action.

July 28 - 29 - Explore the Shore
Discover the historic County Road 50, in the town of Essex, just south of Harrow. Relive the afternoon drive you have experienced in the past and take a journey along Lake Erie, stopping at your favourite spots! Over twenty participating businesses along Essex County Rd. #50 are offering a variety of activities for you and your family to enjoy. Activities include a putting competition at Oxley Beach Golf Course, a treasure hunt at the Colchester Harbour, live entertainment at restaurants and wineries, food specials, vineyard and orchard tours, local art displays, gift shops!
August 9 - 12 - Windsor Pride Festival
The Windsor Pride Community aims to promote equality and diversity through all of its campaigns including its annual Windsor Pride Festival. The six-day Pride festival uses theatre, music, art and entertainment to raise awareness of discrimination and the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/intersexed/questioning (LGBTIQ) people around the world.
August 10 - 12 - The Art of Eating
The Art of Eating Food & Wine Festival is a celebration of wine, food and entertainment held in a beautiful waterfront setting nestled on Lake St Clair in Tecumseh and is hosted by the Tecumseh Business Improvement Association. The Art of Eating is an upscale event meant to be enjoyed by the whole family that blends delectable, one-of-a-kind restaurants, award-winning wineries and talented musicians from various musical genres. Join us as we celebrate food, wine, and entertainment with family and friends!
August 10 - 12 - Pelee Fest
Pelee Fest is a 3-day community festival for all ages. Events include: a festival tent with live entertainment, art and craft vendors, food vendors, children's inflatable activities and games, face painting and more. The festival is jam packed with fun and enjoyment. Come for the day and stay for the weekend!
August 17 19 - Leamington Tomato Festival
Free-family-festival featuring local tomato and agricultural industry; parade; continuous live entertainment; custom car show; "the" Tomato Stomp; children's village; food/crafts vendors; local wine-food pairings; pancake breakfast, Fireman's water barrel competition, 5k walk-run; golf tournament; talent-beauty pageant.

August 23 - 26 - Tecumseh Corn Festival
On Thursday, we have Seniors Day where there will be "free" hot buttered corn on the cob starting at 1pm. On Thursday evening the tradition continues with the Miss Tecumseh Pageant at the L'Essor High School Theatre. On Saturday, our famous "Largest Small Town Parade" starts off the day's events as it travels along the stretch of Tecumseh Road near Manning. Once again we have a large festival tent for the small stage entertainment with tables and chairs so seniors and families can enjoy the show regardless of the weather and enjoy the delicious food being sold throughout the park.
August 25 - 26 - Art by the River
Join over 130 artists in Amherstburg on the last weekend in August every year. Browse their wares, from 10-5, on the beautiful grounds of Fort Malden National Historic Site. Enjoy musical entertainment, paint a picture in the children's area or take a guided historical tour.
August 30 - September 2 - Harrow Fair
Harrow has organized and hosted an annual agricultural fair every Labour Day weekend for over 157 years, many people from Essex County and other parts of Ontario attend. Highlights of the fair include a mom calling contest, a pie auction, "bossy" bingo and a tractor pull.
September 6 - 9 - Shores of Erie International Wine Festival
Fort Malden National Historic Site of Canada.This years Wine Festival will be spectacular and relevant! Toast to the tastes with wine from the Lake Erie North Shore region of Ontario paired with local foods and culinary exhibits. On the beautiful waterfront property of one of Canada's most important historic sites, this year's festival will feature a special 1812 surprise!
September 29 - 30 - Ruthven Apple Festival
The Apple Festival parade begins at 10:30am from the little hamlet in Ruthven (look for the signs) and leads into the festival grounds at Colasanti's , a host of midway rides and games for children, the Apple Festival Car Show, over 100 craft and food vendors and the popular Farmers Market filled with all the bounty of Essex County.
